The Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale is the University’s principal center for teaching and research on international affairs, societies and cultures around the world.

ELI Africa is a non-profit organization founded and run by Yale undergraduates. The group dedicates itself to working with communities in Africa to run experiential learning projects for local youth.

Global Health Corps (GHC) aims to mobilize a global community of young leaders to build a movement for health equity. GHC provides opportunities for young professionals from diverse backgrounds to work on the frontlines of the fight for global health equity in year-long fellowships. Our fellows have a measurable impact on the health of the communities in which they work, and draw upon that experience and the GHC alumni network to deepen their impact throughout their careers.

(RED) transforms consumers into a financial force to invest in HIV and AIDS programs in Africa. It works with brands such as Nike, Gap and Starbucks to make unique (RED) products and donate up to 50 percent of the profits to the Global Fund. Since 2006, (RED) has generated over $150 million dollars and benefited over 5 million people that have been impacted HIV and AIDS programs from (RED) purchases.

The Access Project improves the health of impoverished people, communities and countries. The Access model: Apply business and management skills to public health systems in poor countries to increase access to life-saving drugs and critical health services with special focus in Rwanda.
