Yale alumni, staff, World Fellows, and others in the Yale community direct and manage leading global health organizations around the world.

Global Health Corps (GHC) aims to mobilize a global community of young leaders to build a movement for health equity. GHC provides opportunities for young professionals from diverse backgrounds to work on the frontlines of the fight for global health equity in year-long fellowships. Our fellows have a measurable impact on the health of the communities in which they work, and draw upon that experience and the GHC alumni network to deepen their impact throughout their careers.

Barbara Bush, CEO, graduated from Yale University in 2004 with a degree in Humanities.

(RED) transforms consumers into a financial force to invest in HIV and AIDS programs in Africa.  It works with brands such as Nike, Gap and Starbucks to make unique (RED) products and donate up to 50 percent of the profits to the Global Fund.  Since 2006, (RED) has generated over $150 million dollars and benefited over 5 million people that have been impacted HIV and AIDS programs from (RED) purchases.

Bobby Shiver, co-founder with Bono, graduated from Yale College and Yale Law.

The Access Project improves the health of impoverished people, communities and countries. The Access model: Apply business and management skills to public health systems in poor countries to increase access to life-saving drugs and critical health services with special focus in Rwanda. 

Josh Ruxin, founder, graduated with his B.A. in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale.

Nyaya Health provides health services to 3,000 patients a month in a community of 250,000 people in Accham, Nepal through an all-Nepali staff with supervision and training from volunteer public health experts.

Jason Andrews, Duncan Maru and Sanjay Basu co-founded the organization in 2005 while students at Yale School of Medicine and School of Public Health.

Unite For Sight's Global Impact Corps is an immersive global health experience for students and for professionals.  Each spring, Unite for Sight hosts it’s annual conference, featuring more than 150 speakers and 2,000 attendees, here on Yale’s campus. 

Jennifer Staple-Clark founded the organization in 2004 while she was an undergraduate at Yale University.

It builds public- and private-sector capacity for the care and treatment of individuals living with HIV and associated diseases in South Africa.  From a start-up, pioneer-led organisation to one of 700 fulltime staff members, among its projects it provides support the government’s HIV & AIDS programme through human resources, training, data management, and infrastructure.

Thembi Xulu is the Director and a 2010 Yale World Fellow.

Results for Development's (R4D) mission is to spark innovative ideas and catalyze high impact actions that reduce poverty and improve lives in developing countries including Health System Strengthening, Human Resources for Health, and Health Financing.

David de Ferranti is the President and founder, Robert Hecht is a Principal and Managing Director; they both graduated from Yale College.

Living Goods operates Avon-like networks of door-to-door Health Promoters who make a modest income selling essential health products at prices affordable to the poor. 

Charles Slaughter, Founder and President earned both a BA and a Master’s in Public and Private Management from Yale.
