Our Mission
The Yale Institute for Global Health (YIGH), led by the schools of public health, medicine and nursing, is a university-wide effort to address global health issues, and serves as the focal point for research, education and engagement with global partners to improve the health of individuals and populations worldwide.
Global Health Symposium
On Friday, April 5th, YIGH hosted the inaugural Global Health Symposium. The day explored opportunities to engage in global health and featured a keynote address from Dr. Madhukar Pai, MD, Ph.D., FRSC, Inaugural Chair, Department of Global and Public Health, McGill School of Population and Global Health.
